Natural Ways

During a Penland School of Crafts letterpress-printing class, I realized a dream of combining my poetry and imagery in a handmade book, through the completion of Natural Ways. The three poems and the images reflect my deep ties to family and to the contrasting landscapes of my youth and adulthood. The book contains two linocuts, one collograph, and two photopolymer prints, and I handset the metal type and added pochoir accents on two pages. (6” x 8” x 1/16”)
