Edition of 20; $80
While at Penland School of Crafts, I collaborated with a printmaker, Rich Gere, to create Three Sashays. Rich and I each created several photopolymer designs, I wrote the haiku and set the metal type, and Rich carved linocut lettering and printed the text on a Vandercook press. We each then bound our ten copies. The haiku, while reflecting scenes and experiences at Penland, also speak to broader themes. (7 ¼” x 5 ¼” x ¼”)
